Wouldn't you know, I figured it out (I think) just as I hit send...

The reason your gOffset& = 3 is because in that loop you're not copying 
the length byte! You're inserting it manually, and starting the copy from 
the byte after it--the third byte.

It would be more efficient to leave gOffset& = 2, get rid of the poke 
statement, and copy 49 bytes. Or, better yet, try the suggestion I just 
made in the other mailing.
