Thanks so much for your suggestions concerning my menu check toggling
question. In doing research on my question, I had read a post from Mars
(BTW, where has he gone? -- I miss him!) about three or four years ago
where he made a suggestion similar to George's, i.e., totally rebuild the
menu structure. On pages 130 and 131 of Learning FutureBasic II--The
Toolbox, Frank Turovich made a couple of warnings about trying to change a
menu that's already present. I am anxious to try both of your ideas in my

What I have always appreciated about this group is the inventive solutions
that you collectively are willing to share. Indeed there is more than one
way to skin a cat. I will appreciatively try any new suggestions.
