The easiest way is to use a PICT that you draw (up arrow), define the
dialog item as a PICT, enable it.

Then handle the click on that item when the user does it (draw an indented
pict or something like that).

To get more fancy, you need a CDEF (I use Jims CDEF's a lot). CDEF is short
for control definition.

I use Resourcerer so its a little easier, but basically you define a
CONTROL item and then use the CDEF's RES# (*16) plus any variations for the
CDEF in the CNTL resource for the DLOG control. This lets you use stuff
like the little arrows as in Apples Date and Time control panel, tab panels
(ala Microsloth), and all sorts of things.

That might sound confusing, but I have a sample of using a Font & Size
popup menu in a DLOG if you want to see how its done.
