Apples 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

12 Tart apples, peeled, cored, sliced
Rind from 2 lemons
1/2 c Apple cider
1 Stick cinnamon, broken in pieces
4 tb Butter
1/4 c Brown sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Place apples and cinnamon stick in casserole. Sprinkle with lemon rind.
Pour cider over all. Bring to boil on top of stove. Cover and place in 350
oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and discard cinnamon stick. Put
apples through food mill or coarse sieve. Add butter and sugar. Serve warm
