Cajun Rice And Beans

Grains Cajun Rice 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 c Chopped onion
1 Clove minced garlic
1 8-oz tomato sauce
1 t Salt
1 c Chopped green pepper
2 T Oil or shortening
1 15-oz pinto beans
3 c Hot cooked rice

INSTRUCTIONS

In large skillet cook onions, peppers and garlic in fat until tender.
Stir in tomato sauce, beans and salt; simmer 10 minutes. Serve over
