Calcium Rich: Orange French Toast with Honey Yogurt Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Plain yogurt, low fat
1 ts Liquid honey
1 Egg
1/3 c Skim milk
1/2 ts Orange rind, grated
1/4 ts Vanilla
1 pn Salt
2 sl White or whole wheat bread
1/2 ts Margarine
Ground nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

In small bowl, combine yogurt and honey; set aside.
In shallow bowl, beat together egg, milk, orange rind, vanilla and salt.
Dip each bread slice into egg mixture, coating each side well.
In large nonstick skillet, melt margarine over medium heat; cook bread for
2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Per serving: about 335 calories, 17 g Protein, 10 g fat, 45 g carbohydrate
