INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Water
1/2 c Granulated sugar
1/2 Navel orange; zest removed with a
; vegetable peeler
; and cut into 1/2 –
; inch long strips
3 tb Superfine sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

In a very small saucepan over moderate heat bring water with
granulated sugar to a boil. Add zest and simmer, stirring
occasionally, 10 minutes. Drain zest in a fine sieve a small bowl
toss to coat with superfine sugar.
