We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

A thankful heart is one of the primary identifying characteristics of a believer. It stands in stark contrast to pride, selfishness, and worry. And it helps fortify the believer’s trust in the Lord and reliance of His provision, even in the toughest times. No matter how choppy the seas become, a believer’s heart is buoyed by constant praise and gratefulness to the Lord.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS

In a heavy skillet cook the sugar over moderately high heat, stirring
constantly with a fork, until it is melted completely and turns a deep
golden caramel. Remove the skillet from the heat, stir the caramel to
prevent further darkening, and pour the cream into the side of the
skillet carefully (the caramel will harden when the cream is added).
Add 2 tablespoons water and cook the caramel mixture over moderate
heat, stirring, until the caramel is dissolved. Let the sauce cool to
warm.
Makes about 1/2 cup.
