Caramelized Carnitas (pork)

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb Boneless pork shoulder
2 T Brown sugar, packed
1 T Tequilla
1 T Molasses
1/2 t Salt
1/4 t Black pepper
2 Garlic, finely chopped
1/3 c Water
1 Green onion with top, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut pork into 1-inch cubes. Place cubes in single layer in a 1-inch
skillet. Top with remaining ingredients, except for green onion.  Bring
to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring  occasionally
until water has evaporated and the pork is slightly  caramelized, about
35 minutes. Sprinkle with green onion and serve  with wooden picks.
