Place bran, milk, golden syrup & egg into a mixing bowl. Peel & grate
carrot & add with cottage cheese & raisins. Leave to stand for 5 mins. Add
flour, sugar, b/soda & salt. Mix until just combined. 3/4 fill greased
muffin pans & bake at 350°F for 20 mins or until well-risen & golden. Makes
