Cashew Orange Sweet Peas

INGREDIENTS

18 oz Peas; see pantry
1/3 c Orange juice
1 tb Honey
1 ts Cornstarch
1/8 ts Salt
1/2 ts Grated orange peel; if desired
1/4 c Plain cashews; toasted, optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Pantry: 2 (9-oz.) pkg. Green Giant Harvest Fresh Frozen Sweet Peas
Cook peas as directed on package; drain.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, mix orange juice, honey, cornstarch and
salt until well blended. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils
and thickens, stirring constantly. Stir in orange peel and cashews;
stir into peas.
6 (1/2-cup) servings EACH 162 cals, 3g fat (17% cff) estimated by
mastercook and kitpath@earthlink.net IDEA - mix peas and snap peas;
serve with veggie (rice) burger or rice and grilled portabella
mushroom.
