Joy, oh, joy, from the word of Jesus,
Joy of joys, from heaven to us;
Joy from the joy in the heart of the Son,
The joy of all joys, second to none.
Grace, what grace, in Christ is found!
Grace, deep grace, of life the ground;
Grace upon grace, a fountain flowing,
Grace from all grace, in me ever growing.
Love, oh, love, the truest of measures,
Love of loves, the sharpest of pleasures,
Love from the love of the Father's plan,
The love of all loves to reach every man.
