"A  Farewell to a Great President"
                         Ronald Wilson Reagan

                                  1911-2004

Thank you for the eight years you served as Commander and Chief of your great country, The United States Of America.

Because of  your great love and dedication to  your great country, you have left it a better place because you have lived, loved, laughed and served it well!

Your fond memory will live on in the heart of America and in Canada with great pride, dignity, respect and a great sense of loss.

Our hats are off to a fine American.   May God Bless and keep you,  Mr. President.   We salute you, and this one's for the Gipper!  God Bless America!!

"Making the Most of Life"

If I can throw a single ray of light across the darkened
pathway of another; if I can aid some soul to clearer sight of
life and duty, and thus bless my brother; if I can wipe from any
human cheek a tear, I shall not have lived my life in vain while
here.

If I can guide some erring one to truth, inspire within his
heart a sense of duty; if I can plant within my soul of rosy youth
a sense of right, a love of truth and beauty; if I can teach one
man that God and heaven are near, I shall not then have lived in
vain while here.

If from my mind I banish doubt and fear, and keep my life
attuned to love and kindness; if I can scatter light and hope and
cheer, and help remove the curse of mental blindness; if I can
make more joy, more hope, less pain, I shall not have lived and
loved in vain.

If by life's roadside I can plant a tree, beneath whose shade
some wearied head may rest, though I may never share its beauty, I
shall yet be truly blest--though no one knows my name, nor drops a
flower upon my grave, I shall not have lived in vain while here.

A Walk With Jesus

If you could take a walk with Jesus
If He could spend some time with you,
Would you walk through fields of flowers,
Sprinkled with the morning dew?

If you could take a walk with Jesus,
Would you walk beside the sea?
Or would you walk out in the forest,
So you could rest beneath the trees?

If you could take a walk with Jesus,
What would you say to him?
Would you spend the time complaining,
About your family and your friends?

If you could take a walk with Jesus,
Would you grumble about your job?
Would you choose your words with caution,
As you walked with the Son of God?

Now before you give your answer,
Give careful thought to what you'll say.
Though you may not have noticed,
Jesus walked with you today.

Have a Blessed Day
Dave and Barbara
