Through shimmering leaves the shadowed wind
Passes with ease, in the pale of dusk,
Each leaf designed to lift on the air.
So faith infuses life with fullness:
Its trials waft lightly through a tree unmoved;
Born aloft, not bandied about,
To ride and rise to eternal rest.
