Persons need not and ought not to set any bounds to their spiritual and gracious appetites, [instead they ought] to be endeavoring by all possible ways to inflame their desires and to obtain more spiritual pleasures… Our hungerings and thirstings after God and Jesus Christ and after holiness can’t be too great for the value of these things, for they are things of infinite value… [Therefore] endeavor to promote spiritual appetites by laying yourself in the way of allurement… There is no such thing as excess in our taking of this spiritual food. There is no such virtue as temperance in spiritual feasting.

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son. 
         
And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U. 
         
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came. 
       
And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified. 
       
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan? 
       
The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
and this word resUrrection is spelled with a U. 
           
When JesUs left earth at His upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention. 
     
"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - Just like I love U." 
     
So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know Jes Us too? 
     
It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.

  Dear God: I want to thank you for what you have already done. I am
  not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards, I am

  life that has caused me pain or grief, I am going to thank you right now.
 
  I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the
  challenges are removed. I am thanking you right now.
 
  I am thanking you because I am alive.
 
  I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties.
 
  I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.
 
  I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to
    do more and do better.
 
  I am thanking you because you have not given up on me.
