Collectors Tuesday

"Collectors"

A local auto club had taken over half of  the restaurant's parking lot
to exhibit a collection of hot rods and antique autos owned by the club
members. After a leisurely Sunday breakfast, I was strolling around the
lot admiring the various models when I overhead two car enthusiasts
discussing their hobby.
-
One had commented that he had a friend that had taken wheels from a
Cadillac, a radiator from a Ford, an engine from a Chevy and some tires
and fenders from a Plymouth..."
-
"Wow," interrupted his friend, "What did he end up with?"  The other
auto enthusiast laughed and replied,
-
"Two years."

"Important Job"

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did.

Somebody got angry about this, because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

"Careful ... CAREFUL"
A wife was making a breakfast of fried eggs for her husband.
Suddenly her husband burst into the kitchen.

"Careful ... CAREFUL!  Put in some more butter!  Oh my GOODNESS!
You're cooking too many at once. TOO MANY!

Turn them! TURN THEM NOW!

We need more butter. Oh my GOODNESS! WHERE are we going to get MORE
BUTTER?

They're going to STICK!  Careful ... CAREFUL!  I said be CAREFUL!
You NEVER listen to me when you're cooking! Never!

Turn them! Hurry up! Are you CRAZY? Have you LOST your mind?  Don't
forget to salt them.  You know you always forget to salt them. Use
the salt. USE THE SALT!

The wife stared at him. "What the heck is wrong with you?  You
think I don't know how to fry acouple of eggs?"

The husband calmly replied, "I wanted to show you what it feels
like when I'm driving.
