I had to reschedule a couple of patients that I was supposed
to see Monday until Friday. My limbs remaining in one piece
is a higher priority than scaling snow drifts.

Teenage Logic
When our youngest daughter, Diane was 14, she began
to question some of our house rules; as a result,
many arguments ensued. During one such argument, she
told us, "When I'm 16, I am out of here. Then you
will be sorry. That will show you!"
"If you do go, honey," I said, "I hope you'll be
happy."
"Well, I hope I'll be miserable," Diane replied,
"Because that would really bug you."

Recycle
Today, in the cutest voice, my 8-year-old daughter asked me to
start recycling.
I chuckled and asked, "Why?"
She replied, "So you can help me save the planet."
I chuckled again and asked, "And why do you want to save the planet?"
"Because that's where I keep all my stuff," she said.
