Ben Franklin called it another substance. I agree, but to keep the list in harmony, I will refrain. 😉

P.S. Any South Park watchers on here? Tonight's episode was a pretty scathing parody on Christian rock music. Cartmann starts a Christian rock band because he has a bet that he can get a platinum record before Kyle's band, because "Christians will buy any crap as long as Jesus' name is on it. Plus the songs are easy to write because all you do is take love songs and replace the word baby with Jesus." He becomes successful, but loses the bet in an ironic twist when the Christian music industry doesn't give out Gold and Platinum records, choosing instead to award Frankincense and Myrrh records......he loses it on stage, cursing and losing everything.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about the show (and it can be pretty brutal, terrible language, and even blasphemous at times and if I had kids, it would never be on), it had a lot of truth to it. Not that there aren't brilliant and talented Christian artists out there but...well, a trip to your local Christian bookstore will show there is a lot of schlock as well that people will buy because it has a Christian name. I'm thinking of the Jesus playing soccer figurines. Sigh.

Unfortunately, funny and thought provoking. Shows we still have a lot of work to prove that Christians shouldn't settle for second rate art.
