[Prayers]Fires?

Kyle here. Haven’t had a chance to post yet, but as 2 of the CB brethren, Mark Chipeur and Tim Warstler have taken time to ask for an update, thought it was high time I did.
We’re doing fine. The fires have come as close as Simi Valley/Moorpark about 4 or 5 miles and several canyons away. For those familiar with SoCal/Thousand Oaks the closest they got was the corner of the 118 and the 23 freeways. Lots of smoke and ash. It looks pretty yellow out there right now. We’re doing fine, though!! The kids were a little freaked by see the orange glow of the hilltops.
Keep the prayers up if you can. A lot houses have gone up throughout SoCal and you’ve probably see. Closer to home, things have been touch and go in parts of San Diego. My sister-in-laws parents and grandparents were evacuated from their home over the weekend. From what they’ve heard, the houses are still standing, but the apartments a block away were burned. Don’t know for sure though, they haven’t been allowed back in.

I've seen much on the news and read in the paper about the fires. Some of them appear to be in your neck of the woods. How are you doing? How is Thousand Oaks?
