Yep, I think "wall warts" is too nice a name for these freaking things.
The micro series compressors weren't the best, but the limiter and the
parametric EQ's ruled. I'd use them still if I could find the warts.

The only parametric I have found for the money that is in the same league
is the behringer one. I think I paid $50 each for 2 of them and they
work well on drums. Not noisy at all and only two rack spaces total.

I agree. This is a decent compressor but for the money I think you can
get a Behringer Autocom, which is a bit nicer (IMHO). I wouldn't pay
more than $50 for it. In fact, I think I may still have one that I'd
sell for $50...I'll have to look tonight.

I DO have a killer 1/2 space Ashley compressor that I used for
years...only I don't have the power supply, which looks like a phone
jack. Anyone remember these and know where I can get a power cord?
