That's really good to hear, Chetin. I think one lesson we
need to learn is to let time give us a bit of perspective
before we start trying to figure out how things fit together.
For example, I can think of a number of times when some
has been so excited about how God has 'blessed' them
with a new job and then, six months later, to hear them
talk, that blessing has become more of a curse.
Even when people mean us evil, often the longer
perspective allows us to discern God working for good
(Gn 50:20), and often they're not setting out to hurt us,
just living out different views and beliefs and not putting
us first.
I'm glad to hear you've reached a point of perspective
where you can look back and see that even the tough
times weren't wasted.
