Jesus is the “Light of Lights”.

We don’t hear this said, usually.  In fact, it was said by mistake by a local pastor during church – and I considered it and realized it was true.

The Bible uses various comparisons for Jesus and God, to other “gods” and “prophets”.  King of kings, Lord of lords.  Jesus says he is the “Light of the world”.

It makes perfect sense… Jesus is the “Light of Lights”.  Of all the bright lights, he shines the brightest.  There is no “light of the world” as bright and pure as Him.
