Date Nut Bars (my Mother’s Recipe)

INGREDIENTS

2 Eggs
1 c Sugar
1 Stick melted butter, she
uses 1-1/2
1 c Pitted chopped dates
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
1 c Flour
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Baking powder
1 t Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix and bake at 325 degrees for 30 min in square greased pan. Roll in
powdered sugar. Yield 24 or more. Posted to bakery-shoppe digest V1
