Delmarva Barbecued Chicken

INGREDIENTS

1 ts Salt
1 ts Pepper
2 ts Poultry seasoning
1 c Cider vinegar
1/2 c Vegetable oil
1 Egg; well beaten
2 Whole chickens; split in half

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. Add vinegar, oil, and egg; mix
well.
When coals are ready, put chicken on grill and baste with sauce. Keep
mixing sauce as chicken cooks as it will separate. Cook chicken slowly over
medium coals 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, until juices run clear.
Baste and turn chicken frequently.
