Diabetic Sweet and Sour Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 tb Cornstarch
1/3 c Chicken broth
1/3 c Red wine vinegar
2 tb Frozen concentrated pineapple juice
2 tb Chopped pimiento
1 tb Soy sauce
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/4 ts Ground ginger
2 pk Equal; (artificial sugar sweetener)

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine cornstarch and chicken broth in small saucepan. Stir in all
remaining ingredients except Equal. Cook over medium heat , stirring until
thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in Equal..Serve warm.
Makes 1 cup..Calories: 5 per tablespoon.. Diabetic exchanges per serving:
up to 4 tablespoons free..
