When His people are without strength, without resources, without hope, without human gimmicks – then He loves to stretch forth His hand from heaven. Once we see where God often begins we will understand how we may be encouraged.

INGREDIENTS

3 c Whole wheat flour
1 ts Garlic salt
1/2 c Soft bacon fat
1 c Shredded cheese
1 Egg, beaten slightly
1 c Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 400 F. degrees. 2. Place flour and garlic salt in a
large bowl.  Stir in bacon fat. Add cheese and egg. Gradually add enough
milk to form a dough. Knead dough and roll out to about 1 inch thick. 3.
Use dog bone cookie cutter to cut out dough.  Place on greased cookie
sheet.  Bake about 12 minutes, until they start to brown. Cool and serve.
