Assemble the night before: (to make more time to paint)
Cook macaroni al dente Line bottom and sides of a 1 1/2 qt. casserole with
cheese. Add cooked macaroni, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Top with grated
cheese and bake @ 350o for 30 minutes.
