We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Even when life may be difficult, we should thank God for all He does for us—which we do not deserve.
Billy Graham

A thankful heart is one of the primary identifying characteristics of a believer. It stands in stark contrast to pride, selfishness, and worry. And it helps fortify the believer’s trust in the Lord and reliance of His provision, even in the toughest times. No matter how choppy the seas become, a believer’s heart is buoyed by constant praise and gratefulness to the Lord.
John MacArthur

  NOTES:
*  A rich chocolate pie -- I got this recipe from a 1983 calendar. It's
tried and true and delicious. It's also very simple to make. I usually
double the recipe, since one pie never seems to last long enough. Maybe
that makes it a double double chocolate pie. I've made it using chocolate
almond liqueur instead of creme de cacao. It came out OK, and had a hint of
a nutty flavor in the background.
