INGREDIENTS

2 Envelopes DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix
2 3/4 c Cold milk; divided
1 ts Vanilla
2 pk (4-serving size) JELL-O Instant Pudding & Pie Filling; any flavor
1 Baked pastry shell (9 inch); cooled, or 1 prepared graham cracker or chocolate flavor crumb crust (6 ounces)

INSTRUCTIONS

This heavenly pie lives up to its name. During World War II, one- crust
pies became popular because of the scarcity of shortening. Many were filled
with JELL- O gelatin or pudding- convenient products for women involve in
the war effort.
BEAT whipped topping mix, 1 cup of the milk and vanilla in large bowl with
electric mixer on high speed 6 minutes or until topping thickens and forms
peaks.
ADD remaining 1 3/4, cups milk and pudding mixes; beat on low speed until
blended. Beat on high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Spoon
into pastry shell.
REFRIGERATE at least 4 hours. Makes 8 servings.
