Fettuccine Marinara From Lhj

INGREDIENTS

2 tb Olive oil
1/2 c Sliced onion
1 ts Minced garlic
1/4 ts Crushed red pepper
4 oz Smoked ham; diced
1 c Frozen peas
14 oz Marinara sauce; jar
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Freshly ground pepper
1 lb Fettuccine or spaghetti; cooked according to package directions
1/4 c Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and
cook for 3 minutes. Stir in garlic, red pepper and ham; cook 2 minutes
more. Add peas and marinara sauce; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer
5 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper.
2. Toss sauce with hot pasta and parsley in a serving bowl.
