Finnish Pulla, Dough Made with Abm

INGREDIENTS

1 1/8 c Milk
1/3 c Butter; or margarine
1/3 c Sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ts Cardamom
2 1/3 c Cake flour
3 ts Yeast; dry or 25g fresh
1 Egg; for brushing

INSTRUCTIONS

Warm the milk, it should be handwarm If you use fresh yeast, dissolve it to
the milk. Measure the ingredients using order above. Put the machine on,
any program. Let the machine handle the dough ten minutes, not more (use
alarmclock). Turn the machine off. Let the dough rise in warm place well
covered about 30 min, Work the risen dough at the baking table and make it
to 12 (big) or 20 (small) buns. Put the buns, pullas, to the baking sheet
and cover, let rise again 30 min. Brush the pullas with egg. On the top of
the pullas you could put some sugar and almond flakes.
Bake in the oven 420 F about 10 min for the small pullas and about 15 min
for the bigger ones.
