INGREDIENTS

4 Yams cut into chunks
1 lb Carrots cut into 2" chunks
1 lb Prunes
1 lb Honey
2 lb Flanken
Some margarine
1 Recipe kneidlach

This can certainly join the list of Yom-Tov recipes.  It is a recipe that I
received from my good friend, Lisa Nemtzov.
Put the meat in a large covered pot.  Cover with water and cook for one
hour.  Add the carrots and yams and cook for another 45 minutes.  Add
prunes and honey and continue to cook for an additional half hour. Drain
and save the liquid. Put the tzimmes into a rectangular dish.
Add a little of the drained liquid and dot with margarine. Drizzle with
with a little honey on top. Add the kneidlach all around.
Bake uncovered for 30minutes at 350 degrees.
