85 g Margarine; (3oz)
85 g Caster sugar; (3oz)
2 tb Syrup
85 g Plain flour; (3oz)
1 55 grams can dried peel; (2oz)
55 g Glace cherries; chopped (2oz)
55 g Flaked almonds; (2oz)
55 g Currants; (2oz)

INSTRUCTIONS

Line several trays with bakwell paper/parchment. Melt the margarine, sugar
and syrup until thin. Add flour, fruit and mix well.
Place a small tsp of mixture on a tray, 5 to each tray. Place in the oven
and cook at 180?C/350?F/gas mark 4. Let the Florentines cool a little and
then take off tray and coat with melted chocolate when cold.
