We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

1/2 c Light corn syrup
1 ts Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a very good recipe that tastes like Tootsie Rolls. Actually, I've
never eaten the recipe, so I really don't know what it tastes like, but I
do know that the candy tastes like Tootsie Rolls, and that's what counts!!!
Sift sugar and cocoa together, then set aside. Combine 1/2 of sugar
mixture, butter, and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat til
mixture comes to a full boil, stirring constantly Quickly stir in remaining
sugar mixture and vanilla, then remove from heat. Stir only til mixture
holds it's shape. Pour into a buttered square pan. Cool just enough to
handle. Knead til smooth, then roll into balls or logs.
NOTE: If you want to, you can roll these in powdered sugar immediately
after rolling.
