Fox Run Dog Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Whole wheat flour
1/2 c Nonfat dry milk powder
1 ts Sugar
1 ts Salt
6 tb Margarine or oil
1 Egg
2/3 c Cold water

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients and
stir with a wooden spoon to form a stiff dough. Alternately, combine all
ingredients in a food processor and process until dough forms.
Roll out to a thickness of about 1/2 inch; cut into dog bone shapes with
dog bone cutters or into sticks about three inches long and 3/4 inch wide.
Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 25 minutes in a 350 oven. Cool on a
rack, then store in an airtight container.
Yield: approximately 20 biscuits
