If thankfulness does not move us to serve God, then we do not truly understand who our God is and what He has done in our behalf. Without gratitude for Christ’s sacrificial love, our duty will become nothing more than drudgery and our God nothing more than a dissatisfied boss.

French Onion Casserole

INGREDIENTS

2 lg Onions
3 tb Margarine
2 c Grated cheddar cheese
1 cn Cream or chicken soup
1/2 c Milk
1 ts Soya sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Saute onions and margarine. Spread in 7x11" glass pan. Heat soup, milk and
soya sauce. Add grated cheese and melt. Pour over onions. Mix gently with a
fork. Place slices of bread on top (buttered side up) and partially
overlapped. Bake at 350F uncovered for 1/2 hour.
