Fresh Apple Cake With Brown Sugar Glaze

INGREDIENTS

3 Eggs
2 c Sugar
1 c Cooking oil
3 c Sifted all-purpose flour
1 t Baking soda
1/2 t Salt
1 t Ground cinnamon
2 t Vanilla extract
3 c Chopped apples, peeled
better if apples are
tart
1 c Pecans, chopped
1/2 c Raisins
1 c Brown sugar, dark or light
1/2 c Margarine
1/2 c Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large mixing bowl beat eggs and sugar together. Add oil and mix.
Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add this to the egg
mixture. Mix well; add vanilla and fold in Chopped apples, pecans,  and
raisins. The batter will be very thick.  Pour batter into a greased
1O-inch tube pan. Bake in preheated 325°F  oven for one hour or until
cake is done.  GLAZE: Bring glaze ingredients to a boil for 2-3 minutes
in small  saucepan and pour over hot apple cake in tube pan. Let stand
for 2-4  hours. Remove from tube pan and keep cake refrigerated
