Garlic Cheese Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

2 c Flour
1 tb Baking powder
3/4 c Shedded cheddar
1 ts Salt
1/3 c Shortening
1/4 c Butter
1 ts Garlic powder
1 c Milk
1 ts Parsley flakes

INSTRUCTIONS

Pre-heat oven to 450 F. Mix flour, salt, baking powder & cheddar (should
turn a bit yellow). Add shortening and mix well (will look like rough corn
meal). Add milk and mix again. Scoop and drop on ungreased cookie sheet
with tablespoon and bake for 13-15 min. While biscuits are baking, melt
butter, add parsley & garlic powder and mix. When biscuits are ready, brush
garlic butter mix on hot biscuits. Serve warm.
