We are often unable to see and understand the reasons and causes for specific events in our lives, in the lives of others, or in the history of the world. But our lack of understanding does not prevent us from believing God.

Garlicky Bean Spread

Grains 5 1/4 cups

INGREDIENTS

1 Whole garlic head (can use roasted garlic from a jar)
2 tb Lemon juice
1 tb Olive oil
1 tb Tahini (optional)
2 ts Minced fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 ts Hot sauce
4 cn (15.8 oz.) Great Northern Beans, drained

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Remove white papery skin from garlic head (do not peel or seperate cloves)
Wrap garlic head in foil. Bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes or until
tender; let cool 10 minutes. Seperate cloves; squeeze to extract garlic
pulp. Discard skins.
Combine garlic pulp and remaining ingredients in a food processor; process
until smooth, scraping sides of processor bowl occasionally.
Serving size; 1 tablespoon Calories 16 Fat 0.3 g (17% cff) Sodium 53 mg
