German Apple Kuchen

INGREDIENTS

8 oz Cream cheese; softened
1/3 c Confectioner's sugar
2 tb Margarine; softened
1 pk (8 oz) crescent rolls
3 Apples (up to 4)
1/2 c Flour
1/3 c Brown sugar
3 tb Margarine; softened
1/2 c Chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 375°. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and
margarine until smooth. Separate crescent rolls into 2 long rectangles.
Press into ungreased 13x9" pan to form crust. Crust should go up sides
slightly. Seal perferations. Spread cheese mixture on top. Pare and slice
apples. Place in 3-4 rows on dough. Completely cover cheese mixture. In
small bowl, blend flour, brown sugar, margarine and chopped nuts. Sprinkle
on top of apples. Bake at 375 ° for 30 minutes until apples are tender and
crust golden. NOTES
: Per serving: 287 calories.
