INGREDIENTS

1 3/4 c Flour
1 Egg
6 1/2 tb Margarine
1/2 c Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Vanilla extract (up to 2)
11 tb (scant 3/4 cup) unsalted butter
1 c Plus 2 tablespoons sugar
2 1/2 c Ground hazelnuts, pecans or walnuts
6 tb Water (up to 8)
Chocolate candy coating

INSTRUCTIONS

DOUGH
TOPPING
For Dough - Mix flour, egg, margarine, sugar, baking powder and vanilla
extract together and knead thoroughly. If dough is sticky, add more flour.
Roll out on greased 10x15-inch baking sheet.
For Topping - Melt butter in pan at low heat. Add sugar, mix well. Add nuts
and water, mix well. Put nut topping onto dough. Bake at 390 degrees for
20-30 minutes (until edges turn slight brown). Let cool for about 10
minutes. Cut into triangles. Let cool completely. Remove from baking sheet
carefully. Paint all corners (not the bottom of the corners) with chocolate
coating, such as Log House Almond Bark. Let the coating dry completely.
