It is the brightest star that ever cast its radiance over the darkened soul, and one that seldom sets in the gloom of morbid fancies and forboding imaginations.

German Rye Bread

Grains German Bread machi, D rolls 8 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 tb Active dry yeast
1 tb Caraway seed
2 1/4 c Bread flour
1 1/2 ts Salt
2 1/2 ts Unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 c Rye flour
1 1/4 c Warm water
1 1/2 tb Butter
2 1/2 tb Molasses

INSTRUCTIONS

Place ingredients in bread machine in order recommended by the manufacturer
of your machine. Use regular bread cycle.
(I grind the caraway seeds before usingbecause I like the flavor but not
the nasty little seeds.)
(For Panasonic/National machines use 3 1/2 teaspoons of yeast). Formatted

NOTES : This is one of my all time favorite  bread machine recipes! The
recipe as  given is for one 1 1/2 pound loaf.
