INGREDIENTS

4 Onions
1/4 c Honey; liquid
1 ts Soy sauce
1 ts Mustard; Dijon
1/2 c Brown sugar – packed
2 tb Butter 2 Tbsp water

INSTRUCTIONS

HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE
BROWN SUGAR GLAZE VARIATION
cut off tops and botooms of onions, remove skin. Place onions in saucepan
and add enough water to come to depth of 1". Cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium and cook for 30 minutes. Drain and transfer onions to
small greased casserole.
Honey-Mustard Sauce: In small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce and
mustard; cook over medium heat, stirring for 5 minutes. Pour over onions
and bake, uncovered in 350F oven, basting occaisionally, for 30 to 40
minutes till heated through and glazed. Cut each onion in half to serve.
Variation: Brown Sugar Glaze. In small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup brown
sugar, 2 Tbsp butter and 2 Tbsp water, cook as above and pour over onions
before baking.
