Good Old-fashioned Pancake Syrup

INGREDIENTS

2 Boxes, 1-lb dark brown
sugar
1 c Granulated sugar
4 c Water
3/4 c Dark Karo syrup
1 T Maple flavoring

INSTRUCTIONS

Jul 1996 22:48:56 +0000 Combine brown and granulated  sugars, salt,
water and corn syrup in a large saucepan.  Stir over  medium high heat
until sugar dissolves.  Boil briskly for 10 minutes  or until syrup is
full-bofied when poured from spoon. Mixture should  be about 7 cups.
Cool to lukewarm. Stir in maple flavoring. Funnel  into sterilized
bottles or other gift containers. Cover. Store in  refrigerator for up
