INGREDIENTS

4 1/2 c Rolled oats, uncooked
1 1/4 c Honey
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Grape Nuts cereal
2 ts Ground cinnamon
2 1/2 c Wheaties cereal, or raisin bran
1/2 c Raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Spread oats evenly in a 15x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes
or until toasted, and set aside.Combine honey, Grape Nuts, and cinnamon in
a large bowl. Add the oat mixture, and stir well. Spread honey-oat mixture
evenly into jelly-roll pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until dry. Let cool;
break into large pieces and set aside.Combine the Wheaties or raisin bran
and dried fruits in a large bowl, and stir in honey-oat mixture pieces.
Store granola in an airtight container. Serve with skim milk, or eat plain.
Yield: 20 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup).
Note: You can substitute any dried fruit: peaches, blueberries,
strawberries, or only use 1 kind. This is recipe very versatile.
