INGREDIENTS

1 pk (10 oz) frozen leaf spinach, thawed, drained
1 1/2 lb Pork OR chicken, cut in bite-size pcs
1 1/2 lb Boneless white fish, cut in bite-size pcs
1 ts MSG, optional *
2 tb Seasoned salt
1 Cube butter or margarine, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

RECIPE FOR RICE COOKER
Cut foil into 6" pieces. Sprinkle MSG and seasoned salt over meat. Pour
melted butter over fish. On each piece of foil place a piece of meat, fish,
and a pinch of spinach. Fold over foil to form an envelope and seal. Place
steaming plate into Hitachi Food Steamer and pour in 1/2 cup water. Arrange
foil packages on top of steaming plate. Cover and cook until chime rings.
Serve hot, allowing each guest to unwrap his/her own lau laus. Time 15-20
minutes. MARY'S NOTES * I DON'T USE MSG!!! It causes an allergic reaction
for many people. GRILL These can also be placed on the outside edges of
your Weber grill and allowed to cook for 20-30 minutes (covered), while
preparing other things on the grill. Me ke aloha, Mary
