Herbed Parmesan Bread

INGREDIENTS

2 c Warm water
2 pk Dry yeast
2 tb Sugar
2 ts Salt
2 tb Soft butter
1/2 c + 1 Tbls. parmesan
1 1/2 tb Oregano
4 1/4 c Flour

INSTRUCTIONS

Sprinkle yeast over water in large bowl of mixer, stir until
dissolved. Add sugar, salt, butter, 1/2 cup cheese, oregano and 3
cups flour. Beat at low speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Scrape
down sides of bowl and beaters with rubber spatula. Let rise in warm
place for 45 minutes. Heat oven to 375.  Lightly grease 1 1/2- 2
quart casserole. With wooden spoon stir down batter. Beat vigerously
for 30 seconds, 25 strokes. Turn into prepared casserole. Sprinkle
evenly with 1 Tbls. cheese. Bake 55 minutes. Turn out on wire rack.
Let cool completely, or serve warm, cut into wedges.
