Indeed our utter incapacity is often the prop He delights to use for His next act… We are facing one of the principles of Yahweh’s modus operandi. When His people are without strength, without resources, without hope, without human gimmicks – then He loves to stretch forth His hand from heaven. Once we see where God often begins we will understand how we may be encouraged.

Herbed Vinaigrette

2 tb White wine vinegar OR fresh lemon juice
1/2 ts Dijon
1/3 c Olive oil
1 1/2 ts Fresh parsley, minced
1 1/2 ts Fresh chives, snipped
1 1/2 ts Fresh tarragon, minced OR 1/2t dried, crumbled
1 1/2 ts Fresh chervil, minced OR 1/2t dried, crumbled

In a bowl whisk together the vinegar, mustard, and slat and pepper to
taste, add the oil in a stream, whisking, and whisk the vinaigrette until
it is emulsified. Stir in th eparsley, chives, tarragon and the chervil.
Makes about 2/3 cup. gourmet 7/88
