Herring Spread with Sour Cream

INGREDIENTS

4 Herrings soaked in water for 3 hours
2 c Sour cream
2 tb Mayonnaise
1 Potato; boiled and peeled
1/2 ts Black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

These herring can be made with yogurt instead of sour cream if you want a
lower-calorie version. Fresh herbs, such as parsley, chervil.
Drain the herring.Fillet the fish removing all bones. Puree the potato,and
the herring,add sour cream and mayonnaise misture the pepper.
Chill covered untilready to spread on crackers or matzo.
