Hoisin Lime Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Minced shallots
1/2 c Canola oil
1/4 c Minced garlic
1 c Hoisin
1/2 c Fresh lime juice
1/2 c Chopped candied ginger
1 ts Freshly-ground white pepper
1/2 ts Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Saute shallots and garlic in 1 tablespoon of canola oil. Add hoisin and
saute. Add juice, ginger and white pepper. In a blender, puree all. With
blender running, slowly add remaining oil until smooth. Check for
seasoning.
